Aniel Altamirano

Aniel Altamirano has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Aniel has held several roles at CFEnergía, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Director of Energy Intelligence, and Subdirector of Natural Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas. Aniel also worked at CFE International LLC as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Energy Intelligence Officer. Prior to their roles in the energy industry, they worked as a researcher at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

Aniel Altamirano is currently a PhD candidate at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, specializing in Innovation, Technology, and Sustainability. Prior to this, Aniel completed a Master of Science degree in Climate Change at the University of Sussex. Aniel's undergraduate education was at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from 1998 to 2003.
