Jean Michel Aoun

Mr. Jean-Michel Aoun is a sales and trading expert with a strong background in trading a variety asset classes and products across several markets and with over 15 years of experience. His knowledge extends across trading, wealth management, banking, corporate finance, and overall management.

Mr. Jean Michel joined CFI from AFC where he served as the Manager of Capital Markets and Investment Advisory. He was the person in charge of managing the trading activities of the desk (both offline and online), covering a wide range of instruments including Stocks, FX, Fixed Income, and Derivatives. He was also in charge of the wealth management and sales activity of his team. Finally, Jean-Michel managed the prop trading book of the company and was a member of the risk management committee monitoring the overall trading exposure and risk of AFC. Prior to that, he was part of the private and corporate banking departments at Byblos Bank SAL as a relationship manager.

Mr. Aoun is currently the CEO of CFI Lebanon where he manages the operations across all company departments. Mr. Aoun holds a masters in finance and banking from ESCP Europe and a masters in distribution and sales from Saint Joseph University. He is also a licensed and approved CEO by the Lebanese Capital Market Authority.
