Nelsy Solano Chaves

Nelsy Solano Chaves is an experienced professional in social responsibility and organizational management, currently serving as the Encargada de Responsabilidad Social and Coordinador de proyecto at CFIACR since January 2013. In this role, Nelsy coordinates Corporate Volunteering Programs and various categories of the Bandera Azul Ecológica program, focusing on climate change, sustainable construction, and sustainable mobility. Previously, Nelsy held positions such as Jefa de Despacho at the Ministerio de Vivienda y Asentamientos Humanos, overseeing ministerial agendas and communications, and as an Asistente administrativo at both MIVAH and Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y de Arquitectos de Costa Rica, providing support across various administrative functions and event organization. Nelsy holds a Master's degree in Social Responsibility and Sustainability from Universidad Nacional and has pursued studies in Political Science at Universidad de Costa Rica.
