Steven supports the firm’s business development in the areas of financial services, business services, real estate, fintech and healthcare practices. Steven’s work at the firm employs both his 30 years of senior-level business and product development experience and channeling the firm’s resources into these industry sectors. During his investment banking career as a managing director and director for such firms as JP Morgan, Salomon Bros. and Fox-Pitt, Kelton, he was responsible for developing corporate relationships and managing the team providing advisory services to the financial services, real estate and fintech sectors.

Steven has managed numerous strategic operations and transactions for firms ranging from start-up to large cap enterprises. During his investment banking career, he completed 30 M&A buy or sell side assignments. In addition, he and his team provided knowledge and resources so that companies were able to complete numerous equity, debt, asset securitizations and derivative transactions. As a chief financial officer at a privately-held merchant processor, he upgraded the accounting staff and provided enhanced financial reports. Steven also provided strategic financial and accounting insights that reshaped planning, reporting, and marketing for corporate and municipality products resulting in significant increases to revenues and profits. In addition to strategic transactions, Steven provided fairness opinions and/or valuations to major corporations. Based upon his due diligence capabilities, the SEC requested that he provide the U.S. with a declaration in a lawsuit filed by the Agency in an international case. Steven began his career working in various computer, accounting and financial roles for a major commercial real estate developer and commercial bank where he managed distressed real estate assets as well as being a member of the credit and investment committees.

Steven received his B.S. in Accounting and his MBA in Finance from University of Baltimore.
