Sungula Nkabinde

Sungula Nkabinde is a seasoned professional in community management and journalism with extensive experience in the South African media and corporate sectors. Currently serving as Head of Communities at CFO South Africa since November 2024, Nkabinde previously held the position of Community Manager at CHRO South Africa from January 2021 to November 2024. Prior to these roles, Nkabinde was self-employed as a freelance editor and writer from November 2016 to January 2021, and worked as a journalist at Moneyweb, focusing on business and finance articles, particularly in the mining sector. Other notable positions include Features Writer at Times Media Group, Business Journalist at Independent Newspapers, and Reporter at The Star. Nkabinde holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Cape Town and completed the Bloomberg Media Africa Initiative at GIBS Business School.
