Felipe Alvear-Zapata is a seasoned professional in community program coordination and support facilitation, currently serving as the Community Program Coordinator at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center since March 2022, while also working as a Support Group Facilitator for the National Alliance for Eating Disorders since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Youth Counselor at Queens Pride House from October 2019 to March 2022, a Peer Advocate and Data Entry Clerk at GMHC from February 2018 to October 2019, and a Peer Health Educator at Queens Pride House from May 2017 to September 2017. Education includes a Master of Science in Earth Systems and Environmental Engineering from The City College of New York and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de América.
