Kelsey Johnson is an accomplished professional in community services with extensive experience in the recreation sector. Currently serving as the Director of Community Services for the City of Penticton since June 2014, Kelsey has held various roles, including Manager of Recreation, Arts & Culture, and Recreation Business Supervisor. Kelsey is also a member of the Board of Directors for the BC Recreation and Parks Association since May 2021. Previously, Kelsey contributed to the Penticton Minor Hockey Association as an Ice Ambassador & Administrative Assistant and held the position of Program Coordinator at the YMCA of Okanagan. Kelsey’s early career includes roles at the Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs as a Program Coordinator and Recreation Program Area Leader. Kelsey obtained a diploma from Mohawk College of Applied Arts & Technology between 2008 and 2010.
