Erin Koeppel

Erin Koeppel currently serves as the Managing Director of Government Relations and Public Policy Counsel at the CFP Board, a position held since May 2018, where leadership involves shaping the organization's public policy positions across various government branches. Previously, as Deputy General Counsel - Adjudication for the CFP Board, Erin provided counsel to the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission regarding enforcement actions relating to ethical standards. Before joining the CFP Board, Erin was a Partner at K&L Gates from September 2000 to May 2018, focusing on investigations and government enforcement, representing a range of clients in SEC proceedings and related criminal matters. Erin earned a JD from Cornell Law School and holds a BA in Political Science and Sociology from Ohio Wesleyan University.
