Tom Sporkin

Tom Sporkin currently serves as the Head of Enforcement at the CFP Board since January 2021. Prior to this role, Tom was a Partner at Buckley LLP (now Orrick) from June 2012 to January 2021. Tom's extensive experience with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission included positions such as Chief of the Office of Market Intelligence, Deputy Chief of the Office of Internet Enforcement, Senior Counsel, and Staff Attorney from 1992 to June 2012. Tom holds a law degree from American University Washington College of Law, obtained between 1989 and 1992, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Maryland.
