Abi Cotler

Abi Cotler has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Abi is currently employed as a Creative Copywriter at CG Life. Prior to this role, Abi was a Co-Founder at Pure Botanika, a CBD brand focusing on Cannabis Science and Holistic Medicine.

Abi also has experience as an Independent Copywriter, specializing in content writing and copy strategy. Abi has worked for various companies and organizations, including Pure Ratios where they served as a Content Director, overseeing content strategy, messaging, and brand voice.

In addition, Abi worked as a Creative Copywriter at Nixon, a faculty member at The Art Institutes, and an Adjunct Faculty member at San Diego State University. Abi also has experience as an Art Director at The Crossing Press and as a Photo Library Manager at Frans Lanting, Inc, where they managed photo rights negotiations and organized a large photo library.

From 2003 to 2006, they attended San Diego State University, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, they enrolled at Brooks Institute and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Commercial Photography, reflecting their interest in capturing visual stories. Abi Cotler's educational journey also included a period from 1990 to 1993 at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they pursued Women's Studies but did not complete a specific degree program.
