Thibault Makarawiez

Thibault Makarawiez has extensive work experience in the software development field. Thibault started their career as a Software Developer at Paradigm, where they acted as a project lead for EposLink® and collaborated with international teams to develop and customize the product based on client requirements. Thibault was involved in the full development lifecycle, including writing specifications and implementing developments for long-term projects.

After working at Paradigm, Thibault joined Ikon Science as a Senior Developer. Here, they served as a Scrum Master for a multi-site Agile team and successfully delivered projects every two weeks to a major oil company. Thibault also collaborated with researchers to implement cutting-edge signal processing algorithms and was responsible for leading the Unit-Testing Community of Practice, providing development tools and support for the entire company.

Currently, Thibault is working at CGG as a Senior Project Lead Software Developer. Thibault is the architect and co-author of the main Quality-Control software for Seismic Processing, which is used by over 1,000 users worldwide. Thibault is also involved in developing a development platform used by 20 developers to build all new CGG interactive applications.

Thibault Makarawiez obtained a Master's degree in numerical geology from ENSG, where they studied from 2000 to 2003.
