Randal Cumming

Randal Cumming is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in product management, particularly in the fields of digital media and automotive advertising. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of CGI Backgrounds since August 2022, Randal leads initiatives to enhance product offerings. Previously, Randal held the role of Global Product Manager at Unity, managing the successful launch of a suite of real-time 3D marketing tools, which generated significant revenue within the first year. Randal also managed Mackevision's North American Products division, focusing on product development and client relations. With a history at CGI Backgrounds spanning from 2003 to 2016, Randal established valuable partnerships with major automotive and advertising firms. Randal's earlier career includes consultancy in automotive photography and an archivist position at Ford Motor Company. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems Management from Wayne State University and an Associate of Science in Photographic Image Technology from Lansing Community College.
