Yannis Pappas

Yannis Pappas has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and engineering. Yannis is currently the Analytics Engineering Team Lead at CGTrader, where they manage a team of three engineers and is responsible for data engineering and warehousing. Previously, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at ITeQ SA. Yannis also worked at Reccodo as the Head of Data Science & AI, leading a team in developing data and machine learning products, and as a Machine Learning Engineer. Yannis achieved significant improvements in recommendations click-through rate and speed through code vectorization. In addition, Yannis has experience as a Data Analytics Mentor at Udacity, providing academic support to students. Yannis worked as a Data Analyst at Growth Digital Agency, consulting a major bank on analytics, and as a Project Manager | Data Analytics at Niometrics, delivering analytics projects for mobile network operators in the APAC region. Yannis began their career at GLOBO PLC, where they held roles as a Senior Presales Consultant and a Project Manager.

Yannis Pappas holds a Master of Engineering (Diploma) in Production Engineering & Management from the Technical University of Crete. Yannis has obtained multiple certifications in various fields, including Machine Learning DevOps, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Data Analyst. Yannis has also completed numerous courses and specializations in topics such as ML Pipelines, Google Cloud Platform, TensorFlow, and Deep Learning from institutions like Udacity and Coursera. Their educational background reflects a strong focus on machine learning and data analysis.
