Jack Frederick has a long history of working in the entertainment industry. Jack began their career in 2007 as an Actor/Director/Writer for the St. Fortune Collective. In 2012, they became an Executive Assistant for Core Staffing, where they were responsible for training new employees and greeting clients. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Casting Assistant for Liz Lewis Casting and a Manager for The Glasslands Gallery. From 2014 to 2019, they worked for Jack and Melissa Productions LLC as a Video Editor, specializing in sketch comedy, live performance, and documentary. During this time, they also worked as an Actor for SAG-AFTRA, a Performer for The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, and a Content Producer for The Peoples Improv Theater. In 2019, they began working as a Freelance Video Editor for CH Media, where they edit videos for their "Let's Play" and "Today in Nerd History" series, sources royalty free music, and integrates referenced archival footage.

Jack Frederick obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from SUNY Geneseo between 2006 and 2010. During this time, they also participated in a study abroad program at the University of Groningen in 2009-2010, also studying Sociology.
