Misla Lagus is an accomplished R&D Manager at CH-Polymers Oy since May 2016, specializing in binders for paper coating and water-based barrier coatings within the Paper & Packaging business unit. Misla has a comprehensive background in research and development roles, including R&D Engineer and Laboratory Manager, where responsibilities encompassed project management, technical support, and representation in partner associations. The professional journey began as a Project Engineer and Laboratory Specialist, involving the development of laboratory methods and research related to a Master’s thesis on hydrophobic surface sizing of testliner. Misla holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Natural Materials Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Process Chemistry, both from Åbo Akademi University.
