David Tompkins

David Tompkins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental planning and ecological services. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager and Principal Scientist at CHA Consulting, Inc. since May 2019, David has previously held significant roles such as VP Environmental Planning and Permitting, Senior Biologist and Wetland Scientist at Kleinfelder from February 2008 to April 2019, and Director of Ecological/Environmental Services at The Chazen Companies from June 2000 to February 2008. Additionally, David contributed as an Environmental Science Adjunct Instructor at Marist College between 2008 and 2012, and served as a Senior Scientist at Wehran Envirotech/EMCON from 1985 to 2000. David holds a Master of Science in Wildlife Ecology from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Geography from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
