Katherine van Woert

Katherine Van Woert has a diverse work experience. Katherine has worked as an Environmental Health Research Assistant part-time at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health since 2022. In this role, they have also served as a Research Assistant and Co-op. Katherine has also been a Vice President of Media and Communications for Northeastern CHAARG at CHAARG since 2022. Before that, they worked as a Research Intern at The Resilient Sisterhood Project in 2022. In 2021, Katherine served as an Orientation Leader at Northeastern University. Additionally, they have experience as a Barista at Simple Coffee from 2019 to 2020 and as a Lifeguard at Chester Area Pool from 2018 to 2019.

Katherine Van Woert attended West Morris Central High School from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Northeastern University in 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2024. At Northeastern, Katherine is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science and a minor in Public Health.

In addition to their academic achievements, Katherine has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Katherine completed the General Laboratory Safety course at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in February 2023. In March 2022, they successfully completed the Harvard Research Data Security Training Course, also at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In January 2022, they obtained certification as a Social and Behavioral Research Investigator under the requirements set by Harvard University through the CITI Program.
