Chadwick School
Maura Large is an experienced librarian currently serving as the Middle & Upper School Librarian at Chadwick School since August 2013. In this role, Maura is responsible for the organization and accessibility of print and online materials and aids students in developing research skills. Maura has also worked at the Los Angeles Public Library since 2005, initially as a Children's Librarian and later as a Substitute Librarian, providing assistance to patrons of all ages. Previous experience includes serving as Head Librarian at Muir High School and Librarian at Eliot Middle School within the Pasadena Unified School District, where Maura implemented literacy instruction and provided professional development. Maura's educational background includes advanced degrees from San Jose State University and California State University, Long Beach, with a strong focus on library science, educational technology, and media leadership.
