Mike Hockey started their work experience in 2007 as the UK Business Development Director, Marketing Director, and Sales Director at 2e2. Mike then co-founded and became the CEO of EH3 Group Limited in 2017, which focuses on helping entrepreneurs and business owners build and grow businesses by providing financial support, advice, and networking. In the same year, Mike also worked as a Board Adviser and Shareholder for Skin Analytics and JustWears, providing ongoing advice and support to their founders. In 2018, they became the Lead Investor and Adviser for Kobble and Lead Investor and Board Observer for Atmosphere Venues. Mike also served as a Board Observer/Advisor for Rovco, which is an innovative subsea technology company. In 2019, Mike became the Lead Investor and Board Observer for Ch.AI, a company that uses AI techniques on alternative data to forecast commodity prices. Mike also became a Visiting Industrial Fellow and Mentor at the University of Bristol's Quantum Technology Enterprise Centre, mentoring two entrepreneurs in developing their businesses. In 2016, they became a Fellow at the Centre for Entrepreneurs, where they acted as a brand ambassador, attending events, supporting research, and helping disseminate campaigns. Mike co-founded Roc Technologies in 2013 and served as a Director, responsible for sales and marketing and achieving significant growth for the company. Mike exited their shareholding in Roc as part of an MBO, achieving a x1100 return on investment.
Mike Hockey attended Secondary Schools in Basingstoke and Bedford from 1983 to 1988. Unfortunately, both schools ultimately closed down. Mike obtained their GCSE in General Studies during this period.
