Elizabeth Thorkelson has a wealth of experience in finance, accounting, and operations. Elizabeth began their career in 2007 as Practice Administrator at Northeast Ohio Institute of Functional Medicine. In 2009, they took on the role of Office Manager at Vein Clinics of America. In 2010, they became Practice Administrator at Senders Pediatrics. In 2008, they founded Korun Solutions, LLC and served as Owner until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, Elizabeth was Controller at Integrated Medical Solutions, Inc. Elizabeth then moved to Proforma as Senior Manager of Business Services until 2018. In 2018, Elizabeth was Assistant Controller at River SaaS Capital and River Capital Finance. Finally, in 2021, Elizabeth became Head of Finance and Accounting at Chain.io. Throughout their career, Elizabeth has used various programs and technology tools such as NetSuite, Aspire, DocuSign, eOriginal, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Epicor Vantage 8, Epicor Express 10, Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, Microsoft Suite, and Proprietary Systems.
Elizabeth Thorkelson has a diverse educational background. Elizabeth obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music from The Ohio State University, a Masters in Political Science from The University of Texas at Arlington, an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, and a Masters of Accounting in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. In addition, Elizabeth obtained a certification as an Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor from QuickBooks ProAdvisors USA LLC in August 2014.
