Leonid Kukuyev

Leonid Kukuyev has worked in the software engineering industry since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern at OPTiMO Information Technology, where they developed a social media posting process proposal, researched successful B2B social media marketing campaigns, and designed process flowcharts depicting proposed social engagement protocols. In 2014, they worked at DATALab as a Lead Engineer, Consultant, and Co-Founder, where they co-founded a university organization focused on community outreach, designed, built, deployed, and maintained web services, applications, servers, and other software for local organizations, and worked with researchers to provide custom software for use in academic research. That same year, they also worked at URSCA as a Healthcare Systems Engineer and Healthcare Informatics Researcher, where they researched Agent-Oriented Programming, designed a multi-agent system in the JADE agent-oriented programming framework for monitoring, anonymizing, integrating, and pushing local healthcare data to a central database, and built a smart-integration system with Apache Jena. In 2015, they worked at Confirmit as a Support Engineer, where they supported Confirmit's Authoring, Reportal, Active Dashboards, and SmartHub platforms, provided engineering-consulting services to Market Research clients, and built reporting and survey-management tools. In 2016, they worked at Progyny, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Finally, from 2018 to present, they have worked at Chain.io as a Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineer, where they have used a Serverless approach to Service Oriented Architecture, built countless AWS Lambda NodeJS services of varying size and complexity, and extended AWS Lambda function wrappers and instrumentation.

Leonid Kukuyev attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2015, where they earned an AACSB-Accredited Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Management and Information Technology Management.
