Marcel Stalder

Marcel Stalder is a Swiss businessman who has been the Group CEO of Chain IQ Group since October 2019. Marcel was previously with EY from 1996 to 2019, where they served in various leadership roles including Country Managing Partner/CEO of EY Switzerland, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ernst & Young Ltd., and Market Segment Leader for Financial Services.

Stalder began their professional career in 1986 as a banking professional with UBS. Marcel then moved to dynamix sport in 1993, where they served as Head of Marketing until 1996.

Marcel has been a member of several boards and committees including the Board of Directors of Zurich Insurance Company Ltd., the supervisory board of SIX Group AG, and the Foundation Board of theETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship & Fellowships.

Marcel Stalder is a certified public accountant who has gone through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the EY New Partners Leadership Program at IMD. Marcel has also studied business administration at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Furthermore, they have certification from both the Oregon Board of Accountancy in Certified Public Accountant (US CPA) and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Betriebsökonom FH.
