Ria Riaz

Ria Riaz has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and community building. Ria is currently serving as the VP of Marketing, DevRel, and Design at ChainSafe Systems, a web3 infrastructure firm. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Marketing, Comms, DevRel, and Design at ChainSafe Systems, where they contributed to the development of gaming tools for web3 game development. Ria has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Code for Canada and worked in the Marketing Team at Vector Institute. Ria was the Head of Marketing at MESH/diversity, where they utilized Diversity Intelligence to shape healthy workplaces. Additionally, Ria has held leadership roles at organizations such as Inspiringfifty, Women Who Code, Community Builders, Startup Open House, GrowthGenius, and RightSleeve Marketing Inc, where they contributed to various marketing and community management initiatives.

Ria Riaz completed their Master's degree in Information from the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 2008 and 2011, with a focus on Management Information Systems.
