Charleta Cook has a diverse work experience history. Charleta began their professional career at JEA in 2008, where they worked as a Telecommunication/Project Management role. Charleta then moved on to Southwest Florida Water Management District in 2009, where they served as a Desktop Support Specialist. In 2010, Charleta joined Consolidated Graphics as a Project Coordinator and later transitioned into a Leadership Development Associate role. Charleta eventually became a Project Manager at Consolidated Graphics before leaving in 2014.

In 2014, Charleta joined Enbase Energy Technology as a Project Manager/Business Analyst, where they worked until 2016. Charleta then moved on to Detechtion Technologies as a Senior Consultant for a year. Charleta's most recent job was at ChaiOne, where they have held multiple roles since 2018. Charleta began as a Project Manager and quickly advanced to Senior Project Manager in 2019. In 2020, they became a Lead Engagement Manager and is currently serving as the Head of the Engagement Management Office.
