Position Overview
As an Inside Sales Supervisor at Chair-man Mills, you will focus on selling event rental services, including equipment, furniture, decor, and other event-related products while concurrently taking responsibility for assisting with leading and managing a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets. You will play a critical role in expanding the company's customer base, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies and processes.
Essential Job Functions
Sales & Customer Relationship Management:
- Respond to client inquiries, provide product information, and offer customized solutions based on client needs.
Support partners through the preparation of rental proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Maximize revenue and exceed sales targets by upselling and cross selling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
- First point of contact for escalated issues, exceeding client needs by responding to concerns and questions.
Team Leadership:
- Assist with leading and motivating sales coordinators, providing guidance, training, and ongoing performance evaluations.
- Establish and monitor sales objectives and targets for team members and ensure they are aligned with overall company goals.
- Ensure workflows are efficient & effective and provide recommendations for areas of improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:

Assist with monitoring sales metrics and KPIs to track sales coordinators’ individual and team performance.

Analyze sales data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions, as necessary.

Assist with input and maintenance of CRM software HubSpot to document and drive the sales process with customers.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
Sales Strategy and Planning:

Implement directed sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market potential.

Collaborate with peers across the sales and operations teams locally and nationally to identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Assist BDM to identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Conduct market research/competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments, including operations, logistics, project management, and design to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure sufficient stock levels of rental products.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company and generate leads.
Experience and Qualifications

Degree or Diploma from post-secondary institution with a focus on hospitality and/or event planning, or prior event related sales experience.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Ability to analyze sales data and generate meaningful insights/KPI’s.
- Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for client meetings and events.

Strong presentation skills and impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
