Dan Assa

Dan Assa has had a long and varied career in research and development. Dan began their career in 1994 as a Naval Officer in the Israel Defense Forces. Dan then moved on to Creo (Scitex) in 1999 as an R&D Design Engineer/Project Manager. In 2001, they were a Team Manager in Engineering at AVAYA. From 2003 to 2008, they were a Senior R&D Project Manager at Microwave Vision Group (SATIMO, ORBIT/FR, MVG-EMC). Dan then worked as a Technical Product/Account Manager at SolEnergyMed from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they were a Senior Product/Project Manager at Soda Stream International BV. Dan then moved on to HP Indigo as an R&D Manager from 2015 to 2019. Currently, they are a Director of R&D and Programs at Bright Machines, a position they have held since 2019. Dan will begin working as a Research and Development Program Manager at ZOOZ Power (formerly Chakratec) in 2022.

Dan Assa has a long history of education. Dan completed a Bsc in Mechanical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1994. Dan then went on to complete an MBA in Management and Economics from the same institute from 2001 to 2003. In 2006, they completed an Msc in Systems and Design Methodologies from Tel Aviv University. In 2017, they completed an advanced program in System Engineering from Tel Aviv University. Dan also attended Handasaim from 1987 to 1989, where they studied Electronics and Computers.
