Claire D'Agostino Hamdy has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the human resources and recruitment field. Claire began their career as a Communications Coordinator at BP in 2004 before transitioning into recruitment roles at Aberdeen Appointments Agency and RBG Limited. In 2007, they joined Stena Drilling as a Recruitment Supervisor, where they were responsible for staffing needs in deepwater drillships and anchored semi's, as well as crewing for the world's first Arctic drillship. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Recruitment Supervisor at Shelf Drilling Inc., managing staffing needs for multiple jack-up rigs and new build projects. Claire then moved to Al Tayer Group, where they served as an Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager and later as a Talent Acquisition Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President - People - Joint Venture Management & SGII (Strategy, Growth, Innovation, Investment) at Chalhoub Group, where they oversee people-related initiatives and growth strategies.
Claire D'Agostino Hamdy completed their undergraduate education from 2000 to 2004 at the University of Aberdeen, where they obtained a degree in Management Studies (MA Hons). In 2006 and 2007, they pursued a Diploma in Recruitment Practice from the Recruitment & Employment Confederation. Additionally, in 2022, they obtained certification as an Accredited Performance Coach from 2b Limitless, recognized by the International Coaching Federation.
