James Wilcock is an experienced football coach and trustee with a diverse background in sports coaching and administration. Currently serving as a Trustee for Cerebral Palsy United since August 2021, James collaborates with the management and fellow Trustees to enhance services for individuals with Cerebral Palsy and Acquired Brain Injury. In addition, James has been a coach at Manchester United since March 2015, working with youth teams and international coaching events. James has also held the role of Recruitment Coordinator and Senior Coach at Challenger Sports since July 2010, focusing on recruiting and training coaches for positions in North America. Previously, James coached within the Manchester United Foundation's BTEC college program until October 2023. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Hons) in Sports Coaching from the University of Central Lancashire, completed in 2014.
