Annemarie Tierney is a Senior Strategic Advisor at the Chamber of Digital Commerce. Annemarie has extensive experience in the legal and regulatory assessment of strategic opportunities across a range of products and services, including blockchain technology solutions, acquisition and JV targets, alternative investment trading, and private company liquidity services.
Prior to their current role, Ms. Tierney served as Vice President, Head of Strategy and New Markets/Counselor to New Markets at NASDAQ Private Market, where they were responsible for the legal and regulatory assessment of strategic opportunities across a range of potential new products and services. Annemarie also served as the Series 24 Business Supervisor for SMTX, LLC, a wholly-owned broker dealer subsidiary of Nasdaq Private Market.
Ms. Tierney has also held positions as Assistant General Counsel at NYSE Euronext and Senior Associate at Skadden Arps.
Annemarie Tierney's educational career includes a Doctor of International Comparative Law from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a BA/BS in Finance and International Relations from Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware. Annemarie is also certified by FINRA in securities, broker-dealer agent registration, and broker dealer licensing.
