Antonio Gomez, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Pepperdine University since August 2022, bringing extensive research experience from previous roles at the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine as a Postdoctoral Scholar from 2016 to 2022 and at Stanford University School of Medicine, where responsibilities included research fellow and graduate student positions from 2006 to 2016. Major accomplishments include conducting genome-wide CRISPR screens to identify new cancer-related genes, developing CRISPR epigenetic editing systems, and creating animal models for studying immune responses.
