Megan Gillespie has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Megan started their career as an EKG Technician at Carle Foundation Hospital in 2006 and worked there until 2010. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Exercise Specialist at Loyola University Chicago. In 2018, Megan joined Spectra as a Catering Supervisor and stayed there until 2019. Megan then worked at Champaign Unit 4 Schools, first as an Office Manager from 2020 to 2021 and then as an Assistant Director of Food Services from 2021 to 2022. Megan's next role was as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at COSMETIC PLASTIC SURGERY & LASER CENTER from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Banquet Director at Champaign Country Club, starting in 2023.

Megan Gillespie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology from Concordia University-St. Paul, which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to their time at Concordia, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Illinois State University, where they studied between 2009 and 2011. Alongside their formal education, Megan has obtained additional certifications, including Food Safety Sanitation Manager from ANSI Information Systems Incorporated in July 2021, CPR in June 2013, and Basset from the State of Illinois in September 2019.
