Firass Ghareeb

Firass Ghareeb is a post-doctoral researcher at the Champalimaud Foundation since October 2020, following a research position at the Instituto Português de Oncologia do Porto from September 2014 to April 2020. Prior to that, Firass worked as a medical physicist at Afia Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine Center from September 2012 to January 2014 and at Tishreen University Hospital from January 2009 to August 2010. Firass holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Universidade do Porto, obtained in 2019, a Master’s Degree in Medical Physics from the University of Jordan completed in 2012, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Aleppo University, earned in 2006.
