Margarida Alexandra Duarte

Postdoctoral Researcher at Champalimaud Foundation

Margarida Alexandra Duarte has extensive experience in neuroethology and systems neuroscience, currently serving as a Mice Colony Manager at the Champalimaud Foundation since March 2015, and previously holding positions as Laboratory Manager and Research Technician within the same foundation. Margarida's academic background includes a PhD in Biology (Evolutionary Biology) from the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, focusing on the genetic basis of reproductive isolation in pine voles. Additional roles include a Research Fellow at the Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência and a Research Technician at Centro de Biologia Ambiental, along with a Master's degree in Human Biology and Environment.
