Matilde Sedas

Immunotherapy/ Immunosurgery Lab at Champalimaud Foundation

Matilde Sedas is currently involved in the Immunotherapy/Immunosurgery Lab at the Champalimaud Foundation since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matilde completed various internships through the ERASMUS+ program at the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria "Ospedali Riuniti" di Foggia, specifically in services related to Pathological Anatomy, Immunohematology, Clinical Biochemistry, and Medical Genetics from February to July 2022. Additional internship experiences include histotechnology at IPOLisboa, forensic thanatology at INMLCF, immunohistochemistry at Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Central, and gynecological cytology at Anatomik Laboratório de Anatomia Patológica in 2021. Matilde is currently pursuing a master's degree in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, following the completion of a licenciatura in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences at the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa in July 2022.
