Patrícia Das Neves Borges

Patrícia Das Neves Borges is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical research with extensive experience in cancer and diabetes research. Currently a Senior Research Development Technician at the Champalimaud Foundation since February 2020, Patrícia is involved in the QuantOCancer project, a quantitative biomedicine research initiative. Prior roles include Research Scientist at the University of Coimbra, focused on identifying early biomarkers for diabetes complications, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, specializing in in vivo 3D imaging of arthritis models. Patrícia also earned a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Imperial College London, where research centered on 3D imaging and quantitative methods related to osteoarthritis.
