Romain Ligneul is a researcher currently working at INSERM since January 2023 and has been a research fellow at the Champalimaud Foundation since October 2017. Previously, Romain served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour from January 2015 to August 2017, and as a PhD student at CNRS from October 2010 to December 2014. Romain's academic journey began with an internship at Inserm from January 2008 to July 2010. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (2010-2014), a Master's degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Ecole normale supérieure (2008-2010), and Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Philosophy from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (2005-2008) and Université Paris-Sorbonne (2006-2009) respectively.
