Kris Altman has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. They have held various roles in different organizations. Kris has worked as a Director of Client Relations at Champion Home Health Care since 2016. Prior to that, they were the Co-Owner and Catering Event Coordinator at Catering Revolution and The Bistro at 440 Peacock from 2010 to 2015. They also worked as a Community Representative at the American Cancer Society from 2007 to 2010, where they facilitated the development of multiple Relay For Life events. In 2007, Kris was a Budget and Administrative Supervisor at the Indian River County Building Department. From 1992 to 1998, they served as a Residential Administrator at Catholic Charities, working with homeless families. Kris also has experience as an Intake Admissions Coordinator and Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at the Psychiatric Institute of Vero Beach from 1987 to 1992, and as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at Treasure Coast Rehabilitation Hospital from 1985 to 1986.

Kris Altman attended Indian River State College from 1979 to 1981, where they pursued a Health-focused field of study. During this time, they completed most of their Associate of Arts degree. Subsequently, from 1981 to 1984, Altman enrolled at the University of Florida and obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Health & Human Performance.
