Han Ong

Han Ong is an accomplished professional in the field of oncology and tropical diseases with extensive experience in managing preclinical studies. Currently serving as Study Director at Champions Oncology, Inc. since November 2020, Han Ong is responsible for coordinating and executing studies tailored to external collaborators. Prior to this role, Han Ong held a similar position at Crown Bioscience, Inc. between November 2019 and August 2020. Han Ong's academic background includes a PhD in Life Sciences and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee, complemented by a Diploma in Biotechnology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Notable research experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute focusing on vaccine candidates for visceral leishmaniasis, and earlier work at the University of Dundee targeting metabolic pathways in neglected tropical diseases.
