Paul Cruz

Paul Cruz is an accomplished Senior Bioinformatics Engineer at Champions Oncology, Inc., with expertise in managing bioinformatics operations for oncology NGS pipelines, including RNAseq, WES, and WGS. Prior experience includes significant roles at the University of Washington's School of Medicine, where Paul contributed to NGS pipeline development and clinical diagnostic assay validation, as well as research in vaccine development and bioinformatics for infectious diseases. Paul holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington, supplemented by an Associate of Science degree from Highline College. Additional experience includes tutoring, teaching, and roles in experimental design and culinary supervision.
