Chan Zuckerberg Biohub
Stephani Otte currently serves as Vice President of Imaging at Biohub, where responsibilities include leading the strategic direction and execution of the Imaging Grand Challenge since May 2023. Otte holds the position of Chair of the Board of the CZ Imaging Institute at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative from April 2019 to November 2025. Previous roles include Vice President of Imaging Science and Senior Science Program Officer at Inscopix, Inc., where Otte directed scientific research and development efforts, as well as shaped the company's vision and roadmap from April 2015 to April 2019. Earlier experience encompasses positions as Director of Application Science at Inscopix, a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at UC Berkeley, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Otte earned a PhD in Neuroscience from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Cellular and Structural Biology and Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
