David Lee

As the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s Chief Investment Officer, David Lee is responsible for managing CZI’s investment portfolio, which funds the organization’s efforts across Science, Education, and Justice & Opportunity. David came to CZI from the Princeton University Investment Company where he worked on asset allocation and the marketable asset categories, including domestic equity, international equity, and independent return. Prior to Princeton, David worked at ABN AMRO in London. He earned a first-class honors degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of York (UK), holds an MS with Distinction specializing in Quantitative Finance from the University of Reading (UK), and received an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He is a CFA Charterholder.
