John Hopkins

John Hopkins currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Origis Energy since November 2025. John’s extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors includes roles as Director and Vice President at Astris Finance, LLC, where responsibilities involved project finance and M&A advisory services. Earlier positions include Vice President at GE Energy Financial Services, Manager of Project Finance at Karbone, and Project Development Analyst at SunPower. John began a career in finance as an Associate at Goldman Sachs. John holds a BA in Economics from Yale University, earned in 2005.
