Sebastien Dery

Sebastien Dery is a skilled professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data science, currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since January 2025, focusing on education, grounding, and benchmarking. Previously, Sebastien Dery worked at Apple from May 2017 to January 2024, contributing to projects related to knowledge graphs, declarative machine learning, large language models, search, evaluation, and red teaming. Additionally, Sebastien Dery's background includes a role in data intelligence at Lattice Data, where weak supervision and crowdsourcing were primary focuses, as well as a position as a data scientist at Yewno, specializing in data mining and search ranking.
