Gargi Shanbhag

Gargi Shanbhag is currently a Research Assistant at Chanakya University, working under the Subhas Chandra Bose Chair of International Relations, focusing on articulating India's worldview. In conjunction, Gargi assists Dr. Vinayak Rajat Bhat at the Centre for Indian Knowledge Systems on a project examining political concepts in traditional Indian texts. Previous experience includes an internship at Democracy News Live, where Gargi developed skills in scriptwriting and research article contributions. Additional roles include authoring at Exoteric Space and various internships in content writing and research across multiple organizations. Gargi holds a Master's degree in Geopolitics and International Relations from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Bachelor's degrees in Journalism from both Harkisan Mehta Institute of Media, Research & Analysis and Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
