Ms. Fletcher's specific job duties included: re-envisioning our entry-point courses, creating and designing new math pathways, overseeing the creation of a developmental pathway for students including new admissions criteria and the continued use of the diagnostic for all students, creating self-studies and additional evidence for HLC, hiring team members for the college (e.g., instructional designers, assistant program deans, program deans, etc.), educating internal stakeholders including faculty on best practices for teaching first year students and developmental education, assisting with the creation of additional workshops on these topics, overseeing the general education committee that works on assessment and learning goals of general education courses, observing classes, revising curriculum to improve student outcomes and retention, analyzing and interpreting data for use in curriculum revisions, running pilot studies on the effectiveness of tutoring services and other learning assets, engaging in leadership training, managing a team of assistant program deans and instructional designers, working with vendors to ensure high quality learning assets, engaging in analysis of financials regarding learning assets as it relates to budget, presenting at invited lectures for faculty, developing external relations with experts in the areas of general education, attending and presenting at conferences, and soliciting and creating contracts for course design and advising work with internal and external experts.

Ms. Fletcher has also worked as an Education Consultant from September 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they provided consulting services related to K-12 and secondary education to clients. This included working with large, complex datasets and performing data management and statistical analytics.
