Latonya Wilkins

LaTonya Wilkins has a diverse work experience. LaTonya is currently the Founder, CEO, and Professional Speaker at Change Coaches, a role they have held since February 2020. LaTonya is also an Adjunct Lecturer and Coach for Leadership Development at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management since January 2024.

In addition, LaTonya Wilkins is an Author and Podcast Host for Leading Below the Surface since October 2021. LaTonya is also a Fellow at the Institute of Coaching, McLean/Harvard Medical School since March 2021, and a DEIB and Leadership Coach + Facilitator at Hone since December 2020.

LaTonya Wilkins has previous experience as the Director of Leadership and Culture (Part-time) at Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. LaTonya also served as an Instructor for the undergraduate course, Leading Individuals and Teams, and received teaching excellence recognition. LaTonya held these positions from August 2019 to January 2022. Moreover, they were the Director of Talent Management at Gies College of Business from July 2016 to August 2020, overseeing various areas including Executive Development, Manager/Leadership Coaching, Organizational Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, and Performance Management.

Additionally, LaTonya Wilkins has served as a Member of the Executive Council Network (ECN) since March 2023, an Adjunct MBA Lecturer at UIC Business Liautaud Graduate School since July 2022, and an Advisory Board Member for Women of Color in the Workplace® from February 2022 to March 2023.

During their career, LaTonya Wilkins has been actively involved in coaching, teaching, and advising in the areas of leadership, diversity, inclusion, and organizational culture.

LaTonya Wilkins has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa. LaTonya also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategic Management Consulting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. In addition, LaTonya completed an Exchange Program at Alliance Manchester Business School in the UK as part of their MBA studies. LaTonya has also obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management from North Park University. LaTonya recently completed the Consulting Foundations Leadership Program at the Yale School of Management. Furthermore, they have several additional certifications, including Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation, Certified National Minority Business Enterprise from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDCHQ), and Somatic Coaching, EMDR, and Mindful Coaching from the Mindfulness Coaching School. LaTonya has also completed the EQ-i 2.0 360 and Leadership Assessment from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS). Lastly, they have certifications in Hogan Coach (Lead Series and 360) from Hogan Assessment Systems and Intensive Coach Training from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).
