Sonia Gupta M.D.

Sonia Gupta MD serves as the Chief Medical Officer for both Optum's Enterprise Imaging and Change Healthcare, a role that began in April 2023 and April 2022, respectively. Gupta is an active member of the Forbes Business Council, contributing insights on artificial intelligence and the healthcare industry. Additional roles include Senior Medical Director and Advisor at Rad AI and MassMutual Ventures, respectively, and participation on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. Gupta's extensive experience in radiology includes serving as a Diagnostic Radiologist with Radiology Associates of Florida and contributing to the editorial board of Applied Radiology. Further expertise was demonstrated as the Chair and Member of the Artificial Intelligence Advisory Board at Guerbet and as an Advisor and Medical Director for North America at Qure.ai. Gupta earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, completed the Harvard Emerging Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, and holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
