Portia Kersten is an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee at Change.org since July 2022, Portia has also held positions as a Consulting/Fractional CFO at Midi Health, CFO at Firstbase, and Interim CFO, Co-Founder & Partner at Attivo Partners, a finance and accounting firm assisting startups in capital raising and operational scaling. Previous roles include CFO for Skout.com, AdInfuse, Inc./Velti PLC, and TeeBeeDee, Inc., as well as VP of Corporate Development & Finance at PlanetOut, Inc. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from The Ohio State University.
