Interim Chief Executive Officer at Change

Marek Pajussaar began their work experience as an Investment Manager at E-Ka Ekspert in 2005, where they were responsible for planning reserve liquidity investments in EEA and US capital markets. Marek then worked at Piňata Marketing Australia PTY LTD for a short-term job in 2010, starting from a fruit farm warehouse and quickly advancing to the position of Expeditor and Delivery Reporting Analyst. In this role, they upgraded the legacy warehouse reporting system to provide more actionable input to management.

Pajussaar joined the Estonian Ministry of Finance in 2017 as a National Expert on Securities Market Infrastructure. Marek then moved on to the Finantsinspektsioon / Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority in 2016, where they served as the Head of the FinTech Working Group and Risk Manager.

In 2018, Pajussaar transitioned to Change as the Head of Risk and Control, and later became the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer and a Board Member. In 2019, they founded Fresh Prudent.

Marek Pajussaar has a strong educational background in the field of Accounting and Finance. Marek obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tartu, which they completed between 2004 and 2007. Following that, they pursued higher education at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from 2011 to 2021.
