Kimberly Libman has extensive work experience in the public health and policy sector. Kimberly is currently employed as the Vice President of Policy at ChangeLab Solutions since February 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Program Director at ChangeLab Solutions from December 2017 to January 2020.
Before joining ChangeLab Solutions, Libman worked at The New York Academy of Medicine as the Director of Prevention and Community Development from May 2014 to December 2017. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Queens College from January 2014 to May 2014.
Libman has also held various positions in different organizations. Kimberly worked as a Technical Advisor at the New York Academy of Medicine in 2013 and as a Health and Public Policy Fellow at CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College from 2011 to 2013. Kimberly also served as Part-Time Faculty in Food Studies at The New School from 2008 to 2013 and as the Coordinator of the ObeseCities Collaborative from 2008 to 2011.
In their earlier career, Libman worked as a Research Fellow for the New York State Assembly from 2009 to 2010. Kimberly also served as an Urban Affairs and Planning Teaching Fellow at Hunter College from 2006 to 2008, and as a Research Associate at the Housing Environments Working Group from 2005 to 2007.
Kimberly Libman completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in Community Health Education from Hunter College in 2008. Kimberly also holds a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology and Society from The New School, which they received in 2001.
